Plans are said to be underway for an Enterprise Development Centre in the Grand Bay Community says Employment Minister Ian Douglas.
Douglas said, through the National Employment Program (NEP), his ministry is seeking to assist self-employed persons of Dubique and Petite Savanne whose livelihoods were disrupted by the passage of TS Erika.
He says they are hoping to utilize the AID Bank building on the Geneva Estate, to accommodate that Centre.
Meanwhile, he says government is looking to expand the National Employment Program which is now in its third year.
