Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit, has reiterated his call for a more aggressive approach from international and regional heads towards Climate change.
"We have to take the issue of climate change very seriously" said PM Skerrit.
He says while a number of countries including Dominica have signed the Paris Agreement on Climate change, it has to be moved beyond 'a university lecture'.
PM Skerrit was addressing media this morning following a fact finding mission to Haiti and The Bahamas, the two Caribbean countries hardest hit by Hurricane Matthew, this week.
Meanwhile he says Dominica will be taking a firm position at an upcoming meeting in Morocco on the issue of climate change.
