PM Skerrit & Roseau Central MP, Melissa Skerrit, met with the Dominica National Scout Association & Girl Guides Association, and proposed the construction of a multi-purpose facility on the site of the old Scouts/Girl Guides Center

Prime MinisterRoosevelt Skerrit joined his wife, the Parliamentary Representative of the Roseau Central Constituency, Melissa Skerrit, earlier today, for an on-site meeting with leaders of the Dominica National Scout Association and the Girl Guides Association of Dominica.
 
The Roseau Central MP has proposed the construction of a multi-purpose facility on the site of the old Scouts/Girl Guides Center on High Street to house new offices for the associations. 
 
The proposed facility will provide space for a wood workshop and other skills training programmes, arts and craft workshop and also serve as a costume design and construction hub. Prime Minister Skerrit and Mrs. Skerrit also stopped at the former Dominica Club on High Street, where the Government is considering the rehabilitation of the tennis courts, among other initiatives to bring economic activity to the area
