PM Skerrit’s comes under scrutiny again as answers to questions on his dual citizenship appear to change
The question of Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit’s citizenship has once again come under scrutiny after the answer to the question of his dual citizenship has changed.
In 2012, senior council Anthony Astaphan adamantly refuted claims of the prime minister’s ownership of a French passport, however four years later, Astaphan seems to have changed his tune, allegedly admitting that the prime minister does in fact own a French passport.
As a result, Opposition leader Lennox Linton is of the view that the prime minister did in fact contest the 2009 general elections under a false declaration.
