President of the Dominica Diabetes Association calls on schools & parents to become more active in the fight against Child Obesity
President of the Dominica Diabetes Association, Marvlyn Birmingham, wants schools and parents to become more active in reducing Child Obesity in Dominica.
Speaking at the Launch of a program dubbed “the fight against CNCD’s” in Salisbury recently , she stated that more extracurricular activities need to be included in the school’s curriculum & parents need to assist in properly managing their children’s diet, so as to avoid Obesity and CNDC complications.
