Prime Minister says his cabinet is now gearing towards electoral reform as its current focus
Prime Minister, Roosevelt Skerrit, says his cabinet is now gearing towards electoral reform as its current focus.
This he says follows many consultations with lawyers and various officials to bring a proposal to the IPO commission, as opposed to an imposition on the commission.
Mr. Skerrit added that he expects the opposition parties to show interest in the electoral reform & illustrate their views respectfully.

Lord have mercy on Dominica.Skerritt said not long ago,as reported by DNO news, that electoral reform decision was with the electoral commission. Now we hear he and his cabinet are punting the decision to the IPO.After two electoral cycles, when he promised electoral reform and national ID cards,we are yet to receive anything else but promises. Does Skerritt do anything other than grandiose talk.He promised a new airport,a new hospital and so much more yet nothing to see.He just says what ever he thinks people want to hear. This is no way to plan and develop a country,no wonder all major segments of the economy languish under his leadership. He is surrounded by inept puppets who just say what they are told to say.
