Public Service Day 2016 continues with Craft Exhibition

​The road to Public Service Day 2016 continues on Friday, October 7, 2016 with a Craft Exhibition held as part of celebration activities.
The Exhibition which starts from 9:00am on the Ground Floor of the Government Headquarters has been organized to create the opportunity for public officers as well as members of the general public to view and purchase various crafts.
According to a release, twelve (12) individuals from the Dominica Arts and Crafts Producers Association will display and disseminate information on various types of craft and items on display including wood carvings, wood jewellery, art paintings, creole madras bags, place mats, men’s hats, clutch bags and straw craft.
The theme for the observance of Public Service Day 2016 is, ‘Embracing the Challenge: Rethink, Rebuild, Transform!’ Public Service Day is observed to appreciate, recognize, highlight and reward outstanding performance and behaviour of Public Officers.
