Public Works Minister says the government of China continues to be a true friend to the government and people of Dominica

Public Works Minister, Senator Mirium Blanchard, says the DLP administration showed great foresight in establishing diplomatic relations with the People's Republic of China.
Dominica established diplomatic relations with the PRC on March 23 2004.
Since then the 2 countries have enjoyed a meaningful partnership promoting mutual cooperation, culture and peace which has been significantly beneficial to Dominica in a variety of sectors as Dominica continues to support the One China policy.
On Thursday last week the signing ceremony of letters of exchange between the government of the People's Republic of China and the government of Dominica for the West Coast Road post TS Erika rehabilitation project was held at the Financial Centre.
And Public Works Minister Mirium Blanchard says there's no doubt that the government of China continues to be a true friend to the government and people of Dominica.

Dominica's PM Roosevelt Skerrit says the Chinese government has continued to be very sincere friend of Dominica.
The PM says the Chinese government has kept every commitment and promise made to the island.
Skerrit says in many instances the Chinese government has gone beyond the commitments that it has made.
