Reginald Lafleur is the newly elected President of the Rotary Club of Dominica.
Lafleur will serve for the period 2015-2016 and replaces former club President, Annie Edwards.
Lafleur described himself as a “Rotarian in the Lord,” In his address and thanked fellow Rotarians for their trust and confidence in him to lead the organization during the coming year.
“Tonight, I am proud to be inducted as Rotary’s President for second time, and to walk in the footsteps of former Presidents…,” he said. “I want to thank you, the members of the club, for having placed your trust and confidence in me, to be your club’s President.”
He commented that while members need not anticipate many new initiatives, they must seek to creatively improve the quality of the club’s services.
Lafleur was elected at the club’s 42nd Annual Investiture Ceremony and Dinner, held at the Fort Young Hotel Saturday.
