Rodney joins those expressing concern over high level of acting appointments within Ministry of Education
Local Pastor, Randy Rodney, has joined DAT President, Celia Nicholas, in expressing concern over the high level of acting appointments within the Ministry of Education.
Nicholas, speaking of the island's Education Ministry, told state radio this week " It seems to be an acting business". She made particular mention of the persons in the positions of Permanent Secretary, Chief Education Officer and the CXC Local Registrar among others.
Pastor Rodney, commenting on the issue, questions the quality of service expected from these persons holding these acting appointments.
He questioned further the reasons for these people not being appointed to date.
