Roseau North MP, Danny Lugay, was asked to leave Monday's sitting of Parliament by the House Speaker Alix Boyd-Knights. The Roseau North MP appeared to be in contempt with the rules of the house. At the opening session of Monday's parliament Boyd-Knights lamented that many parliamentarians do not take the time to learn the standing orders of the house. The speaker also said that it appeared that certain members of the house have what she called a "chronic disability to comprehend." Here's some of what went down between the speaker and Lugay at the start of the yesterday's afternoon session of parliament. The argument further continued upon which the speaker again asked the MP to take his seat, and upon refusal was told to "get out of the house."
