MP for the Roseau North Constituency Daniel Lugay, told q95 he is waiting anxiously for the DLP government to address an infrastructural issue on the EC Loblack Bridge.
Lugay says he wrote to the government regarding critical repair works to be undertaken on the bridge earlier in 2016. He added that he received a report from the Leader of the DLP, Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit, stating “the government is aware of the situation regarding the EC Loblack Bridge, and will rectify the problem in December 2016.” Lugay argues that today is the 3rd of January 2017, and he has not seen any such works take place. He is therefore encouraging all Dominicans, to take court action, if they get injured while using the bridge. He stressed that citizens can call on him to testify on their behalf.
