President of the Rotaract Club of Roseau, Ezra Peter describes the Carnival Princess Show as one of its most cherished community service projects.
In addressing the launch of the 2016 Carnival Princess Show on Thursday, she said the show has been hosted by the Club for over 30 years. Clip: Meanwhile, Club Member Tyisha Williams says the Princess Show has a positive impact on the participants, because it shapes the young girls to become pillars of society. Clip: Six girls from the various primary schools across the island will compete in speech, talent, costume and party dress rounds. The six vying for the title this year are Cadella Charles of the St. Martin Primary School, Gabrielle Williams of St. Luke's primary, Rayne Benjamin of the Convent Preparatory, Kyliee Karlson of the Kelleb John Laurent primary, Kyanna Etienne of the Grand bay primary and Danika Bernard of the Goodwill primary.
