21st VOSH Mission in 2015 Rotary Club of Dominica is hosting its 23rd VOSH Eye & Vision Care Mission across Dominica. It began yesterday Monday 16th and will continue until Thursday 19th January 2017. 23 years ago, the Rotary Club of Dominica collaborated with the Rotary Club of Eaton Rapids, Michigan, USA, to plan and implement the ‘VOSH Project’, a highly anticipated and successful mission.
According to a release, The VOSH team under the Management of Dr Dan Wrubel, will provide eye and vision care services this week. Clinics will be held in the communities of La Plaine, Castle Bruce, Salybia, Pointe Michel, Mahaut, and Goodwill. VOSH International – Volunteer Optometric Services to Humanity, is a non-governmental, non- sectarian, apolitical organization dedicated to the provision of eye and vision care services, for persons who are below the poverty level, and who are without access to local eye care. Their goal is to help people see again, by correcting their vision with glasses.
