MP for the Salisbury Constituency Hector John, in an exclusive interview with Q95 news, said he is disappointed in the DLP Government, for what he describes as the failure of the administration to begin repair works on the Macoucherie Bridge, and to erect signs to caution motorists and vehicle owners of possible dangers.
John says the recent trough which affected Dominica on Thursday last week, has significantly undermined the recent temporary road works done by Government following Tropical Storm Erika, and particularly the Bailey bridge erected in the Macoucherie area.
The Parliamentary Representative believes more can be done to resolve this issue urgently, as this bridge serves the entire west coast.
