Reid highlighted the lack of comprehensive details available about the project, which prompted her to raise several inquiries aimed at obtaining clarity. She emphasized the importance of acquiring crucial information, such as a copy of the project finance agreement, underscoring that specifics are essential for the parliament to make informed decisions about the endeavor. Henderson-Reid inquired about the expenses associated with DOMLEC's procurement of energy from Omat Technology Inc. She raised concerns regarding the source of growth for the company to fulfill its power supply obligations, especially after the government eliminated DOMLEC's production capabilities, thus excluding it from the required production.
