Senior Education Officer says Dominica is the only OECS Member State with its own National Curriculum
Senior Education Officer Robert Guiste says Dominica is the only island within the OECS Member States with its own National Curriculum.
He advises that the curriculum was developed by the Ministry of Education and teachers across the island.
Guiste who was addressing an Early Learners Program Workshop Monday, said the other OECS Member States are actually looking to use Dominica's curriculum within their education system.

A 2-week workshop aimed at improving student performance at the early stages has been underway here.
And Assistant Chief Education Officer Dr Jeffrey Blaize says following the workshop, the Ministry of Education will embark on intense follow up sessions.
Blaize says support at the school level is also a critical component of the program.
