Silver Lake Community MP Joshua Francis expressed his condolences to grieving family members in Silver Lake

​MP for the Silver Lake Community Joshua Francis has expressed his condolences to grieving family members in Silver Lake, who lost their family member, Curtson Charles, on the evening of August 29, 2018.
 
On Wednesday, a vehicle drove up to the scene of the incident in Silver Lake; one person got out and brazenly shot the victim, and the shooter then went back into the vehicle and drove away. Police PRO, Simon Edwards identified the victim as Curtson Charles. Francis spoke to Q95 on Thursday.

​Meantime, Francis condemns gun violence in Dominica, saying these things need to change.
 
Francis who was accompanied to the Constituency by the Leader of the Opposition, Lennox Linton, said the community of Silver Lake, have great people who are just within the minority bracket, and as a result of this, it begets violence. He added that there is a serious dynamic of family’s who’s socioeconomic status is very low, and their level of poverty is also astonishing.
