Small craft operators and sea bathers particularly along the west coast are being told to exercise caution as an unstable atmosphere continues to produce cloudiness, scattered showers and possible isolated thunderstorms across parts of the island chain during the next 24 hours.
According to a forecast from the Dominica Met Office, moderate seas are expected during the next 24 to 48 hours with waves peaking near 7.0 ft.
Meanwhile, a tropical wave is expected to approach the island by Wednesday into Thursday and is likely to produce an increase in rainfall across the island chain.
