South-West & Central Farmers attended Crop Farm Management Record Keeping Workshop Tuesday

Farmers from the South-West and Central Agricultural Regions embarked on a Crop Farm Management Record Keeping Workshop Tuesday.
 
The initiative came to fruition due to the collaborative efforts of the Dominica Bureau of Standards, the Ministry of Agriculture and the Promotion of Regional Opportunities for Produce through Enterprises & Linkages (PROPEL).
 
PROPEL Local Representative Diana Henry-Laville says in order to enhance farm-certification, PROPEL partnered with the Bureau of Standards to produce 300 record keeping books.

Meantime, Technical Officer at the Dominica Bureau of Standards, Roland Royer, says a project has been implemented to enhance Dominica's fresh produce exports.

The workshop was funded by Global Affairs Canada, and implemented by World University Services of Canada.
