The BB Trust incorporated has awarded scholarships to 6 students of the Dominica State College for the academic year 2016/2017. The BB Trust inc is a francophonie non-profit organization which supports the youth's education and training in French Language, Hospitality, Tourism, Culture, Agriculture, and Environment. The students are Anisha Cabie, Allison Jno Baptiste & Breann Lawrence in the Hospitality and Tourism Field, Justin Cyrille in Environmental Health, and Ronalda Grano and Royette Stoute in Agriculture. The scholarships were presented to the students at a short ceremony at the DSC Thursday. President of the BB Trust Inc is Norris Prevost. Prevost says the members of the Trust have not been totally satisfied with the performances of the previous recipients. The scholarships are valued at $2,000 each. The BB Trust has awarded over 100 young Dominicans with a 2 year scholarship to pursue Associate Degrees at the DSC. Over $300,000 has been provided to date.
