The DLP government contends that it has greatly improved road infrastructure in the Mahaut area

Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit says his government has greatly improved the road infrastructure in the Mahaut constituency.
The PM says since the DLP administration took up office in 2000, significant improvement has been made.
Recently Skerrit presented over half a million dollars to the Mahaut Village council.
Some of the monies will go towards road rehabilitation in Morne Scope Mahaut, road rehabilitation in Jimmit Jim Avenue, improvement of road in Fomage Massacre, construction of road along Canal Road Massacre and the continuation of the Warner Link Road.

Meanwhile, Skerrit says the country’s security has been enhanced 10fold with the assistance it has received from the UK.
Last Tuesday the PM received Baroness Sandip Verma, Parliamentary Undersecretary of State at the Department for International Development in the British government at his office in Roseau.
Skerrit called on the security assistance to remain in place for as long as possible between the two countries.
