The HIV/AIDS Response Unit will on June 6 2016 kick off a month of activities geared at encouraging persons who’ve never been tested to do so.
This year Dominica will dedicate an entire month in observance of HIV/AIDS under the theme “Stop Docking it.”
Coordinator of the HIV/AIDS Response Unit, Allison Samuel, says although Dominica usually joins the rest of the region in observance of regional testing day, the unit has seen it necessary to dedicate more than one day this year.
Samuels says the unit is specifically targeting persons who have never been tested before.
