Three DLP Government Ministers speak out in support for PM Skerrit in Dominica Passport scandal2/1/2017 MP for the Portsmouth Constituency Ian Douglas says the latest attack on Dominica's PM Roosevelt Skerrit is an attack on the entire country. Last week an online report alleged that PM Roosevelt Skerrit was under investigations by an undisclosed US agency. The report indicated that he was being investigated by authorities in the US with regards to allegations that he sold a diplomatic passport to ex-Dominican diplomat Alireza ZabaHalat Monfared, an Iranian national who was arrested recently after an international man-hunt. Speaking on a local radio program, Douglas said this ploy is yet again another attempt by the Opposition to smear the name of Dominica. Douglas is also highlighting the ongoing situation in the US, which in itself is causing serious national complications.
