Three Dominican boys are attending the Digicel KickStart Academy commencing in Jamaica today, Monday, June 20.
They will join the other selected players from across a total of 14 countries of the Caribbean and Central America, at the week-long Digicel Academy. There, they will receive another round of intensive training. This will take place at the Sabina Park in Kingston. Jomiah Timothy and Perry Charles of the Dominica Grammar School and Kiano Martin of the Isaiah Thomas Secondary School were chosen from the Digicel KickStart Clinic in April. At the Academy, the boys will have the opportunity to impress the coaches further, in the hopes of being among the top players who will get the chance of a lifetime to train at the City Football Academy, Manchester City FC’s elite training and youth development facility in Manchester, England.
