Tony Cozier had a lovely zest for life says famous radio commentator Joseph 'Reds' Perreira
Sports Commentator, Ossie Lewis, is among those mourning the loss of West Indian cricket writer, commentator and Journalist, Tony Cozier.
Cozier died on May 11th 2016 in his home country Barbados at the age of 75 after an illness. According to reports, Cozier had been admitted to hospital on May 3rd for tests related to infections in the neck and leg.
Lewis says Cozier, a qualified journalist, "knew his solid English and had a sound knowledge of the game".
Meanwhile, famous radio commentator and sports administrator in the Caribbean, Joseph 'Reds' Perreira, says Cozier's death has been a hard blow for him.
Perreira who had been friends with Cozier for over 50 years, says Cozier had a lovely zest for life.
Perreira was speaking on Q95's Sports Wrap program Thursday.
