Tourism Minister is advocating legislation to charge persons who litter Dominica’s streets indiscriminately
Tourism Minister Senator Robert Tonge is advocating legislation to charge persons who litter Dominica’s streets indiscriminately.
While the minister agrees that there should be more bins around the city, he says there are still a few who see littering as a job opportunity.
Tonge says the team which ensure the streets’ cleanliness, are forced to clean up twice a day, therefore he hopes the Government will update the legislation that will make it much easier to charge persons who are caught littering.
