Tourism Minister says tourists injured in Antrim road collision are now getting medical care overseas
Meanwhile, Tourism Minister Senator Robert Tonge has revealed that all of the tourists who were injured in the 9th November vehicular collision in the Antrim area, have left the island, and are currently undergoing further medical attention overseas.
Speaking on a local radio station on Thursday morning, the minister commended Dominicans, and entities that facilitated the smooth care of these individuals. He noted that the ministry has received thankful letters from the cruise ship and the cruise line, for the manner in which the situation was handled, as well as the manner in which the individuals who were impacted by the unfortunate event, were taken care of.
