Two students provided scholarships and one a merit award upon entry to the St Mary's Academy

​Two students have been awarded scholarships upon their entry to the St Mary's Academy while another student has been provided a merit award.
These are complements the Sons of SMA Memorial Scholarship Fund, and the scholarships are in memory of Former SMA Principal Cuthbert Elwin, and Teacher Adrienne Durand.
 
Kieron Phillips and Diami Alexander were the 2 scholarship recipients while Jovani Burgins was the merit award recipient.
Each scholarship is worth up to EC$2,000
The Sons of SMA Foundation was founded in October 2015 in Houston Texas, by members of SMA's alumni including Kimani Augustine and Byron Winston who share the chairmanship.
The motto of the foundation is "surrounding the call, reinvigorating the pride" and is aimed at furthering the mission of SMA by producing strong, ethical leaders, promoting ideals of the aura at labora and fostering advancement of current and future generations of SMA students through integrity and faith bases stewardship and mentorship.
