UWP leader Dr Thomson Fontaine urges the DLP regime to sever all ties with Justin Sun, founder of the block chain TRON, whom the US Securities & Exchange Commission accused of fraud & securities crimes

The US Securities and Exchange Commission has allegedly accused Justin Sun, the founder of the blockchain TRON, with fraud and securities crimes on Wednesday. (SEC). In 2022, Justin Sun signed a deal with the government that was hailed as an historic move for Dominica in its effort to boost economic growth, by embracing digital innovation and naming TRON Protocol as its authorized national blockchain infrastructure.
 
Political leader of the United Workers Party (UWP), Economist Dr. Thomson Fontaine, spoke on Q95’s Hot Seat program earlier today, and commented on the allegations leveled against Justin Sun on Wednesday, and his relations with the DLP regime in office.

Dr. Fontaine went on to explain the charge brought against Sun in layman's language in a manner that every ordinary Dominican could understand.
