United Workers Party leader, and financial economist Dr. Thomson Fontaine says while the party caretakers are making efforts, there is room for improvement. While expressing confidence in the work being done, he has expectation of even greater efforts. He acknowledged their challenges, including personal priorities and resource limitations, as factors influencing the current level of engagement. Fontaine reinforced a collective commitment to doing more within the existing constraints. Dr. Fontaine emphasized that the responsibility for governance does not rest solely on the elected caretakers/candidates. Recognizing the collective effort required, he stressed that the party executive election involved multiple candidates, and the work to form the government should be a shared endeavor among all elected representatives. Fontaine emphasized the United Workers Party's collaborative nature, stating that each member must earn respect and support from their constituencies, in order to contribute effectively to the party's success.
