UWP Leader Lennox Linton reports on the closure of one of the DLP Administration’s CBI bank accounts

UWP Leader Lennox Linton has provided an unconfirmed report on the closure of one of the DLP Administration’s CBI bank accounts. He said one of the branches of an international bank in Dominica has allegedly shut down the Government’s CBI bank account. 

​Linton says reports also indicate that the National Bank of Dominica may now be in the process of securing its corresponding banking relationships, so as to avoid risks, or the breakdown of trade.
 
Meanwhile, unconfirmed reports indicate that the NBD has returned millions to individuals who have purchased Dominican Citizenship through the CBI Program.
 
According to the UWP Leader this indicates that the DLP Administration’s Program may be flawed and risky for the global banking environment.
