Opposition Leader Lennox Linton announces the postponement of a meeting which was organized by the United Workers Party (UWP), and scheduled for today Thursday February 4. He described comments made by Prime Minister Roosevelt Skerrit at a public meeting in St. Joseph as unsettling, and that the nation needs to pause and reflect. As a consequence, the event has been postponed to next week Thursday. Linton stated that there is no need to follow bad advice given by the Prime Minister, which will potentially drive the nation down a path of unnecessary anxiety and tension. Meanwhile, reminiscing about years past when Dominicans lived harmoniously despite their political affiliations, Opposition Leader Lennox Linton says Prime Minister Skerrit is now attempting to escalate Dominica’s Political differences into a state of war. He believes Mr Skerrit views all those who dare speak out against his unacceptable actions and activities, as traitors.
