Wayne ‘Shadowflow’ Robinson is the new holder of the title 2016 Stardom Monarch of the Tent

Wayne ‘Shadowflow’ Robinson is the new holder of the title 2016 Stardom Monarch of the Tent.  Robinson competed against twenty-four (24) calypsonians to capture the title on Wednesday 3rd February 2016.
 
He was crowned by Val ‘Young Bull’ Cuffy, as the 2015 Monarch of the Tent Sheldon ‘De Professor’ Alfred is currently out of state pursuing educational studies.
 
Robinson was presented with a trophy compliments The Sign Man, one thousand dollars ($1000.00) compliments Big Edge Financial, and a plaque compliments Andrew Furniture.
 
Derrick ‘Lugurs’ St Ville placed first runner up, ‘Janae’ second and Davidson ‘Observer’ Victor placed third. The other competitors were Lady S, Son of the Saint, Comforter, Earl White Jr, Haxey, Alisha, Picky, Chris B, Jaydee, Wok Sok, Checker, Intruder, Sting Rae, Hardline, Trendsetter, Beno, Dyno, Webb, Pigtail and Black Diamond.
 
There were guest performances from Mighty DBS, Young Bull, Scrunter, Daddy Chess, Hunter and King Karessah. An intriguing addition to the Monarch of the Tent show emerged, when Marja ‘Lady Star’ Jeffers’ boyfriend proposed to her. ‘Lady Star’, who was co-emcee with Young Bull, was overwhelmed with emotion and said yes.
