The West Dominica Children’s Federation has contributed to the Haitian Community to aid in Recovery after Hurricane Matthew. Last week, Hurricane Matthew slammed into Haiti leaving an increasing death toll, and millions worth of damaged infrastructure, in its wake.
At such a traumatic time for the Haitian community both here and in Haiti, the West Federation empathizes with the Haitian community affected by hurricane Matthew. And in answer to their plight the WCDF has donated close to $5,000.00 worth of grocery items and another $1,500.00 of water buckets and P&G Water Purification Sachets to help get food and clean drinking water to the victims in Haiti. Committed to the humanitarian effort, the federation calls on the public to aid them in this venture as the assistance needed is bigger that what any one organization can handle.
