West Coast Water Project to support the construction of 8 water storage tanks and the supply lines between Morne Rachette and Savanne Paille

​The Dominica Water & Sewerage Company's  West Coast Water Project is one of the many sub-projects under component 1 prevention and adaptation investment of the Disaster Vulnerability Reduction Project (DVRP).
This will support the construction of 8 water storage tanks and the supply lines between Morne Rachette and Savanne Paille.
The Commonwealth of Dominica received financing of EC$38M from the World Bank towards the cost of the DVRP project.
Chief Engineer at DOWASCO, Magnus Williams, says the funding will ensure the water restoration projects are continued and completed.
Following the passage of TS Erika several communities were left without water systems, and since then DOWASCO has been working on ways to restore water services to these communities.
