WINAIR today began its scheduled service to Dominica's Canefield Airport. On December 14, 2015, the airline announced that it will be offering scheduled service to Canefield three times weekly starting January 7, 2016.
Following the passage of TS Erika, the airline introduced a temporary service to Canefield, to facilitate travel to the storm-ravaged island.
WINAIR's CEO, Michael Cleaver, said many customers requested that the service be reinstated as it was convenient for those travelling to the capital city. The airline will now be travelling to Dominica from St. Maarten every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 7.30am and will depart Dominica for St. Maarten at 9.30am
