Works have commenced into the construction of a $1.2M road project in Geneva, Grandbay. The contract for the rehabilitation of the road was signed on April 27, 2016. The Geneva road was washed away by TS Erika is August 2015. Parliamentary Representative for the Grandbay Constituency, Justina Charles, says this is one of the largest projects to be undertaken in the south of the island. She says men from that constituency are being afforded the opportunity to work on the project. Charles says the contractor of the project will bring even more persons on in due time. What about the other villages things only happening in the south of the island what is really going on.
