Digicel has announced the appointment of Nikima Royer-Jno Baptiste as CEO of its operations in St. Lucia effective 1st February 2022. In this role, Mrs. Royer-Jno Baptiste will have responsibility for driving all aspects of the business as the Digital Operator journey continues.
Royer-Jno Baptiste moves to head up the St. Lucia team from Digicel Dominica where she served as CEO for the last 5 years. Health Minister Dr Irving McIntyre addresses the public concern as to whether or not the OMNICRON variant is in Dominica. McIntyre revealed the process by which variants are checked and verified by official and credible sources. He says the same was done with previous variants such the present DELTA variant, and added that there is a strong possibility OMICRON may be in Dominica, but it has not been confirmed. DFA Public Relations Officer, Gerald George, has informed Q95 News that the Association has decided to cancel its senior women’s trip to Anguilla.The ladies were scheduled to travel to Anguilla today Friday where they would have been engaged in two friendly matches as a lead-up to the Concacaf qualifiers in February. After having their PCR test done, the results came back with a few players testing positive with Covid 19. Q95 wishes those infected with the virus a speedy recovery.
